Terms of service

1. The service

SiteBook provides software for recording daily labour, wages, expenses, client billing, tenders and related site records for construction companies and individual contractors.

2. Accounts

You sign in with a one-time code sent to your email address. You are responsible for who you invite to your company and for the access you give them. A mobile number is kept for contact only and is never used to sign in.

3. Your data

You own the records you enter. You give SiteBook permission to store and process them to provide the service. You can export your records at any time, and a full export is sent before deletion after a trial or cancellation ends.

4. Payment and trials

New companies get a 14-day trial. After that a plan is needed to add new entries. Card payments are handled by our payment provider; SiteBook never stores card numbers. Bank transfers are confirmed by SiteBook once the transfer and reference are matched.

5. Suspension

Unpaid accounts become read-only after seven days overdue and are suspended after twenty-one days. Your data is kept for thirty days after that.

6. Acceptable use

Do not use SiteBook to break the law, to store records you have no right to hold, or to attack or probe the service.

7. Liability

SiteBook is provided as is, within the limits set by Sri Lankan law. Keep your own backups of records that matter to you.
